"Yes, but..."

Less stress mindset in 1 minute.

This simple technique will make you feel one of the most powerful and beneficial emotional states:

GRATEFULNESS.

Being appreciative of what you have is the easiest path to alleviate stress and feel better.

Some say…

The opposite of happiness is ungratefulness.

Let’s cut to the chase:

This technique is called “Yes, but…”

It’s about adding the bright side to the bad (so you think) side.
It’s about understanding there are 2 sides of the same coin.
It’s about reframing.

EXAMPLE:
“I lost 2 clients this month…”
Counter it instantly with:
Yes, but… I still have 8 more. And it’ll make me reevaluate my approach to clients. It’ll inspire me to nurture business relationships more. My future clients will benefit from that and I’ll make more money”.

ANOTHER ONE:
“I broke my arm.”
“Yes, but… I still have my arm. I have 2 arms. And it’s the left hand I broke, so it’s not the hand I write with. It’ll make me more careful. Maybe thanks to that experience I’ll avoid some serious incidents in the future”.

That way you cultivate healthy and beneficial thought patterns.

Do it time after time long enough and…

Next time you’ll think “Yes, but…” naturally.

“Yes, but…” will be your DEFAULT.

And this default thought pattern will make your mindset powerful.

You might have noticed it’s also about being optimistic.

And some say…

Pessimists sound smart.
Optimists get rich.

Wish you a great weekend!

PS What do you think about that technique?
